Mr Faisal Kahloon MBBS, MRCS (Edinburgh), FRCS (England) is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon with a special interest in the treatment of varicose veins. He has been serving as an NHS Consultant since September 2019 and joined the University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire as a consultant in June 2023. This Trust is one of the busiest major trauma centres in the UK, where he delivers comprehensive vascular care across both elective and emergency settings.
Mr Kahloon completed his higher surgical training and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) in 2018. His NHS practice encompasses the management of aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, and venous conditions including varicose veins. He regularly submits outcome data for all major vascular procedures to the National Vascular Registry, with consistently excellent results.
He has a particular expertise in modern, minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins, such as endovenous ablation and ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy. His commitment to high standards and patient-centred care has earned him a strong reputation among both patients and colleagues.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr Kahloon is deeply engaged in medical education. He serves as a clinical and educational supervisor to foundation doctors and core surgical trainees and contributes regularly to both local and national training courses for aspiring vascular surgeons.
Mr Kahloon is an active member of several prestigious venous societies such as British Association of Sclerotherapists (BAS) & The European Venous Forum (EVF).
