I only have a few thin red veins on my legs
If the only symptom you have is a few thin red thread veins then you may get away with simply treating the visible veins. This will be cheaper.
However, thread veins on legs typically have the same causes as varicose veins and are under the same pressure. Whether a superficial treatment of the visible veins will be lasting, can only be guaranteed following an ultrasound scan to view the underlying cause.
