Acne Scarring.
Acne, medically known as Acne Vulgaris, is a common skin disease that involves the oil glands at the base of the hair follicles. We treat both active acne and acne scarring.

Yes we can treat acne scarring but it is much better to avoid it in the first place.
At the first signs of acne appearing take action to have it treated. Acne is often transitory and many people suffer from it in puberty. Then it passes but the scarring does not. We can treat the scarring with the treatments listed below but prevention and early intervention are our preferred approach.
Fractional 1550nm laser
Our 1550nm laser is our preferred approach to acne scarring. It is the latest solid state scanning laser technology, which enables a much more effective treatment in a single scan with much less discomfort than previously possible. It is able to resurface to a depth of around 1mm without downtime.
SkinTyte Hi-Fu
Hi-Fu (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is the clinic’s preferred treatment for tightening skin. This is not directly a scar revision treatment but if there is skin laxity also present, tightening the skin can also help to reduce the appearance of scarring at the same time as reducing the skin laxity.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are not a normal part of our treatment for acne scarring but on occasion it may be relevant where there are one or two deeper scars that would benefit from filling.
