Skin Tightening Cambridge - Loose and sagging skin
Loose and sagging facial skin is one of the more undesirable signs of aging. It is caused by a combination of reabsorption of some of the facial bone together with loss of collagen in the skin and a reduction in the firmness of the fat pads of the face. The combined effect is to flatten the cheeks and the manifestation of other signs of laxity including sagging jowls, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
At Cosmex we have a number of approaches that can address these signs of aging. At your consultation we will discuss and recommend the options best suited to your requirements.

Loose and sagging body skin
This can result from ageing or significant weight loss either as a result if dieting or following pregnancy or illness.
When this is combined with areas of stubborn fat e.g. Following childbirth we can treat both conditions at the same time.

Hi-Fu (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is a non-invasive treatment that helps lift, tighten, and improve skin quality. The technology of HI-FU means that loose, crepey skin around areas such as the face, neck, arms, and décolletage can be rejuvenated to reveal tighter, smoother skin.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal Filling is artistry with a needle to sculpt the face or body and requires significant artistic skill to produce the optimum result. Injecting dermal fillers is also a non surgical procedure that is delivering non animal filler into the patient’s body and requires an excellent understanding of anatomy, the characteristics of the products being used and crucially understanding and experience of the complications that can occur and how to deal with them. In the wrong hands very significant complications can occur that have to be dealt with swiftly.
