Most people start their journey where you are now, by viewing our website. It will hopefully answer some of your questions and potentially raised others.

Once there if you are a new patient or an existing patient considering a different type of treatment you are able to book a consultation online.
If you are an existing patient on a course of treatment you are able to book your next appointment directly online.

Our professional staff will give you what information they can over the phone or by email. However please be aware that there are often several options available and the best treatment plan for you will always result from an in depth face to face assessment.
Your in-depth assessment & treatment plan
Every new patient will have an in depth assessment to enable us to understand your requirements and any issues that need to be taken into account. This is also the best time for you to ask any questions you have and to voice any concerns.
Once we understand your requirements we will present you with the options that are available together with our assessment of their likely relative effectiveness, cost and any potential issues. We will discuss these options with you so that you are fully informed before deciding what treatment you wish to proceed with.
During this process we will usually be considering what is the best overall plan for you going forward. Our approach is biased towards early intervention and prevention, which we find far more effective that trying to correct severe damage.
An example of this would be hair loss. In areas where the hair is thinning and the individual hairs are weaker we can typically revive and boost your existing hair growth with PRP ( See hair Loss page). But once an area is completely bald the only real option then is a hair transplant, a far more invasive and expensive procedure.
At no time will we try to push you into a treatment that you are unhappy with and you will be given time to reflect upon your decision before treatment begins.
Your treatments
All treatments delivered within Cosmex are backed by clinical evidence and all machines used are approved to the relevant standard e.g. Medical CE. We ensure all our clinical personnel are trained to the necessary standard and then mentored to continue improving as standards and treatments evolve. Increasingly we are now able to offer better overall results through a combination of therapies.
We work to an appointment system and are pretty good at keeping to the schedule but do sometimes slip a little. The actual consultation will typically take 30 – 40 minutes.
There is ample parking at the clinic and we are located next to Waitrose and just 3 minutes from the M11 junction 11. We are also only around 400 yards from the Trumpington Park and Ride.
Our aim is always to treat you as we would want to be treated ourselves.
Following a treatment or course of treatment we will contact you to discuss the results and any further treatment that may be required.

- Booking Fees
When you book your first consultation with us, we shall require payment of a booking fee. This will be deducted from the cost of your first treatment.
When booking all other appointments with us, we now require payment of a nominal fee that will be deducted from your treatment costs. You may still cancel or re-arrange appointments without losing this fee so long as you give us at least 48 hours notice.
We appreciate that emergency cancellations may be unavoidable, so please contact us and we shall try to be accommodating.
