Cosmex Platinum HiFu + 1550 Fractional Laser.
Cosmex Platinum the ultimate non invasive treatment to tackle the intrinsic effects of aging.
Combination treatments produce the best results.
As the understanding of the aging process and the advances in treatments evolve there is a strong trend towards combination treatments. Cosmex recognises that our patient are individuals who all age differently and have different needs and preferences. We consequently have overlapping treatment approaches so that you can choose your preferred approach and current fashions. For instance when treating the effects of intrinsic aging we have two distinctly different options:
Cosmex Platinum HiFu.
Both the Cosmex Platinum and Endymed Intensif include two different modes of treatment and both can produce excellent results for skin tightening and skin resurfacing /scar revision. The differences are:
- Cosmex Platinum is 100% non invasive
- If just skin tightening is required then Hi-Fu alone can be used and this will typically require 1-2 treatments.
- As the patients needs increase with age then both Cosmex Platinum and Endymed Intensif will typically require 3 to 5 treatments.
- The consumable costs associated with Cosmex Platinum are much lower because the skin infection barrier is never broken.
- The needle spacing of the Intensif is fixed but the fractional laser can be programmed to between 25 and 3025 micro treatment zones per square centimeter. Making it more flexible and effective for: Treating active acne, Generating new collagen, Treating deeper scars.
1550 Fractional Laser.
The Platinum treatment involves two modes of treatment:
- HiFu to tighten the skin. This is a permanent ightening of the skin although we will continue to ages and so will need periodic top ups
- 1550 Fractional Laser. This treatment resurfaces the top 1mm of the skin and is particularly beneficial to:
- Compliment and enhance the tightening effects of HiFu
- Reduce and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkle
- Reduce and improve the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks
- Increase the collagen in the skin
- Reduce the presence of active acne
Endymed Intensif – Medical needling with Radio Frequency (RF) heating of the skin.
Medical needling + RF has been made popular by a marketing campaign involving Julia Murray (Andy Murray’s mother). It is an effective treatment for skin tightening and skin resurfacing including the treatment of acne scars and stretch marks.
